I have come to stop expecting very much from people. At work, I have ceased to expect anyone to actually do the work correctly to which they are assigned. In traffic, I have ceased to expect anyone drive with any common sense, courtesy, or caution. Now, I have ceased to expect that the customers I deliver to know their own home address. On numorous occasions, I have called a customer on the phone to tell me their address, and have them give me something that ends up being completely wrong. I'm not sure what kind of basic intelligence is lacking that they don't know where they live.
