From Integrating the Derivative

Grab the nearest book.

1. Open it to page 161.
2. Find the fifth full sentence.
3. Post the text of the sentence along with these instructions.

Don’t search around looking for the coolest book you can find. Do what’s actually next to you.

Mine:

The nearest book to me was a comic book, so I didn’t have 161 pages. Instead I turned to page 16 of Exiles # 94 which in the 5th full line of dialog has an evil alternate-universe Sue Richards (Fantastic Four’s Invisible Woman) saying:

"Stop it! The Both of You!"

  1. From a book titled 'Classic Celtic Fairy Tales by John Matthews':

"He handed the fisherman a small bag, and crying: 'Farewell! Remember your vow,' he wheeled his mare right round and passed swiftly out of sight."

This book was in a box of stuff by the computer that my wife wants to sell on Ebay.

From Top Secret Recipes LITE by Todd Wilbur:

"The fat savings are significant, since the beans and rice are now fat-free, and the recipes use fat-free tortillas and fat-free shredded cheddar cheese."
